Zillicoah Beer Co Fundraiser

Join us for a fundraising event benefiting our friends Jeremy, Jonathan and Parks as they work to rebuild their brewery and their livelihoods. Tragically when Hurricane Helene tore through WNC last year they lost nearly everything, literally over night. While the rebuild is well on its way we are hoping to raise some capital to help ease their burden. 100% of the sales from one of our Czech side-pull taps will be donated to the brewery. There will also be a silent auction featuring donations from local breweries, distributors and importers, all tickets sales will be going to the Zillicoah crew.

Here’s the schedule:

*   Donation Tap opens at 12 PM.
*   Silent Auction tickets go on sale at 12 PM (in-person only) and continue until 6:30PM
*   Pizza Finta will be available from 2 PM to 6 PM, or until they sell out.
*   Last call for alcohol will be at 6:30 PM.

From the brewery: “We’re almost 8 months post-Helene, and somehow, we continue to be stunned by the support that comes in from the community. Businesses like Appalachian Vintner, and the people behind them like Chuck and Geoff, are a huge part of why we’re going to be able to open our doors again. Our insurance provider completely denied our claim, so the majority of our recovery budget has come from donations and fundraising events just like this one. We’re forever indebted to everyone involved and to everyone who has continued to believe in us, and we’re looking forward to drinking a few beers with everyone on the 16th.”
