Wine Tasting w/ plēb urban winery

Our Wine Wednesdays, include one *free sample from each of our hand selected fine wine features. This week we welcome Asheville’s own, plēb urban winery from the River Arts District! Wines pour TBD

Located in the River Arts District, plēb urban winery specializes in small batch, craft, low intervention and natural wines using locally sourced grapes from Western North Carolina. Our 10,000 square foot building houses our production, barrel, and tasting room. With 20 taps, we offer wine and local guest beers from stainless steel kegs using a custom built tap system. Come in to experience wine, art and community!

Strawberry, rainier cherries, passionfruit, pear blossoms, lilacs, chrysanthemum and jasmine tea 35% Catawba, 35% Chardonnay, 16% NC Traminette, 11% Grenache, 4% Riesling $5.50/can

Exuberant White Wine, 12.2%

Light sparkling wine with notes of peach, apple, dandelion petals, lilacs, tart, lemon / lime shock tart. Best consumed straight from the can or in mixed beverages.

GSP Red Wine Blend, 13.9%

Lifted aromatics of potpourri, bright cherries, black berries, pancetta, chocolate covered raspberries 50% Grenache, 25% Syrah, 25% Pinot Noir


2018 Vidal Blanc, Henderson County, NC (10.8% ABV)

barrel fermented and aged on lees deep golden color with baked peaches, pie crust, honeysuckle Vineyard: Southern Williams

2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Rosé, Hendersonville, NC (12.2% ABV)

white strawberry, Turkish apricot, pink lady apples, watermelon jolly rancher; vivacious with a crunchy finish (trapped CO2) Vineyard: Stone Ashe

2018 Cabernet Franc, Yadkin Valley, NC (12.2% ABV)

natural wine, carbonic maceration open top barrel fermented with native yeast, produced by hand destemming, this wine presents notes of olive tapenade, cherry cola, pomegranate, plum, and black tea. Vineyard: Jones von Drehle
