In the earliest days before the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius, the citizens of Pompeii thoroughly enjoyed their wine and pizza, a classic combination as old as time.

We have a very special tasting in store for you, with our friends from Haw River Wine Merchant and Abbiocco at Home.

Mike Tiano will be tasting wines from the southern volcanic slopes of Mt. Vesuvius from Cantine Matrione. Complimenting the wine will be slices sampled from Abbioco founder Glenn Osterberg.

There will be an opportunity to purchase wine and pizza to go after the event.
