VESUVIAN WINE & PIZZA PARTY!

Wine from the slopes of Vesuvius and pizza from well, the slopes of Western North Carolina!

In the earliest days before the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius, the citizens of Pompeii thoroughly enjoyed their wine and pizza, a classic combination as old as time.

We have a very special tasting in store for you, with our friends from Haw River Wine Merchant and Abbiocco at Home.

Mike Tiano will be showcasing wines from Cantine Matrone, an organic, natural winery located on the southern volcanic slopes of Mt. Vesuvius. Accompanying these delicious wines will be slices from Abbioco at Home, a local pizzeria, and frozen food vendor.

There will be an opportunity to purchase wine and pizza to take home during the event!

PLEASE NOTE THE SHOP WILL BE OPEN FROM 12-6 that day but the tasting is only from 3-6!
