Sarrah Adler, owner of BITE WINES (off shoot of Sour Grapes) will be on hand to pour the magnificent Lambrusco’s from Quarticello. These wines will be available for sample as well as by the glass. Three Sisters Creamery will also be on hand to sample their amazing farmstead cheese!

Tucked just outside Reggio Emilia, Quarticello is a small, family-run winery with deep local roots and a refreshingly rebellious spirit.

Roberto Maestri grew up on this land, watching his father grow grapes and sell them off in bulk. But in the early 2000s, fresh out of oenology school, he returned with a mission: to make wines that tasted true to his home. That meant no chemicals in the vineyard, no lab yeast in the cellar, and no watering down Lambrusco’s rustic edge in favor of mass-market polish.

Roberto farms organically and bottles his wines with minimal intervention. Everything is fermented with native yeasts.
Many of his wines finish in bottle, pét-nat style, often unfiltered and just a little wild.
