Whaley Farm Brewery

Founded in 2022 in Old Fort, NC, Whaley Farm Brewery specializes in Appalachian farm beers, English cask ales, and deliciously crafted lagers. They use locally grown and foraged plants, mushrooms, and herbs in many of their specialty beers, giving them a unique marriage of olde style brewing and homegrown mountain flavors. They have persevered through the destruction of Hurricane Helene in 2024 and have made great efforts to rebuild, coming back stronger than ever.

 

Harvey’s Brewery

Harvey’s Brewery is the oldest independent brewery in Sussex. They are a family business, and the brewery has been in the custodianship of John Harvey’s descendants since 1790, with five family members from the seventh and eighth generations working there today.

Still a privately owned limited company, Harvey’s has no shares marketed for external investment.
