Illahe Gruner Veltliner

The 2017 Illahe grüner veltliner introduces itself with light but dense aromas of dried peach, honey crisp apple, and fresh cedar board. This wine is fermented partially in acacia barrels which offer herbal flavors and complex texture. The palate also contains flavors of red grapefruit, graham cracker, and white nectarine. The balanced acid and strong mouthfeel create a beautiful wine ready for drinking or aging.

Revolucionaria Semillon Hulk

This 100% hand harvested Semillon is from a single vineyard in the Tupungato region of the Uco Valley. The lower alcohol wine has a fresh light green hue with notes of lemon, key lime, jasmine, and white flowers with an underlying and persistent layer of crushed wet limestone. The wine is vibrant and bright yet smooth on the palate showing fruit flavors as well as earth tones of dry leaves. Clean, crisp, engaging, and refreshing

Cirelli Montepulciano

 Cirelli’s organic, unfiltered Montepulciano. A nose of dried red fruits, with hints of balsam and leather, also exhibits some trademark oregano herbaceousness. All gentle so far, but savoury. Then palate kicks into gear, with tannin and rip. So earthy. Medium bodied, dusty, raw tannins really add power to the back of the palate. The fruit is nearly forgotten in this powerhouse, and you can’t be anywhere else but Italy. Great stuff!

Bodega Lanzaga LZ

TELMO RODRIGUEZ Compañía de Vinos Telmo Rodriguez was founded in 1994. Telmo – a self-professed “driving winemaker”- came to Rioja searching for the soul of the region, returning to the villages where a few special plots express themselves. Lanciego is a village in the foothills of the Sierra de Cantabria mountains, reflecting the contrasting contributions of the Mediterranean and the Atlantic influences. Native grape varieties, grown on the best soils and subject to the best viticulture are the philosophical tenets, allowing the wines to express their innate qualities thanks to simple, but scientifically-grounded winemaking. Intense cherry color with violet reflections. LZ is clean and bright with lively red fruit aromas with spicy nuances. Fresh and invigorating on the palate, the direct fruit attack is full of ripe cherry and cranberry notes with well-balanced acidity, a pleasant tannic sensation and mineral notes
