SOT de L’ANGE Boutanche Rosé LITER
Quentin Bourse took over a friend’s estate in Azay-le-Rideau after working with many producers in the Loire Valley (notably Domaine Huet in Vouvray) just in time for the 2013 vintage. The estate was already certified biodynamic and covers 12 hectares on clay over silica. Traditionally this rosé is made from 100% Grolleau, but the 2018 edition has a touch of direct-press Gamay from vines planted in 1964. The addition of Gamay brings sophisticated structure and concentrated tannins to this vintage – making it one of the best we’ve tasted in years. The palate has exquisite texture with crisp, mineral acidity and invigorating flavors of tart raspberry, cranberry, and fresh cucumber. It still comes in a crowd-friendly liter format, an ideal go-to for the warm days ahead!

Easton Amador County Zinfandel
This is the eighteenth release of our popularly-priced Amador County Zinfandel. It is made from grapes that grow on our beautiful, rolling mountain sites that have the classic, vermilion-colored, Amador decomposed granite soil. The 2014 has full black cherry and blackberry fruit aromas with a beautiful balance and a big, sumptuous, and juicy mouth feel. It also presents complex spicy aromas, with a nice creamy texture derived from the 10 months time it receives in French oak barrels. This wine has become our popular, but serious crianza-styled Zinfandel that has found its way on to many great restaurant lists across North America where it is often listed “by the glass ”. It is consistently rated one of the top Zinfandels in its class and one of the best value Zinfandels available.
