Two Vintners Grenache Blanc Boushey Vineyard Yakima Valley

In 2010 when we were looking for a white varietal to anchor the Two Vintner lineup he ran into a dilemma, how to do something that so many had done before? How to make a truly unique white wine? Fortunately Dick Boushey came to the rescue, and offered a crack at his Grenache Blanc. We jumped at the chance to make an exotic Spanish white and so the Two Vintners Grenache Blanc was born. Much like our Zinfandel this wine has only increased in popularity as new vintages are released. Following our 2016 vintage in style, this vintage is a beautiful balance of crisp acidity and citrus/melon fruit. Our 8th vintage working with this fruit and we believe we have closed in on what this wine can be.

Two Vintners Grenache Columbia Valley

85% Grenache, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cinsault from Olsen, Boushey and Monnete’s vineyards. Lots fermented individually with native yeasts in one ton open top bins, around 15% whole cluster. Aged in neutral French oak for 15 months. Pale cherry colour, aromas of cherry, strawberry and sherbet, on the palate rich and lush with sweet fruit, very fine granular texture, medium body with fresh acidity keeping the wine brightly balanced, a good long finish with a little earth and black pepper. Richly fruity yet fresh, vibrant and totally delicious.

Covington Cellars Cabernet Franc Columbia Valley

One of our Flagship varietals, our Cabernet Franc is always 100% Cabernet Franc. Cabernet Franc comes in many forms, and its variety of flavors and aromatics are what makes it so appealing. Our style balances the ripeness of the new world style but still retaining the aromatic intrigue that makes Cabernet Franc so enticing. Sourcing from different vineyards allows us to beautifully blend the herbaceous, earthy notes Cabernet Franc is known for, with the rich dark fruit flavors of Washington State. The 2016 vintage was the warmest on record in Washington State. We were able to stay on top of our pick dates and retain good acidity while keeping ripeness in check. Hailing from 3 different vineyards really pays dividends in a vintage like 2015, allowing us options to blend our signature varietal.

City Limits Columbia Valley Syrah

With expressive aromas of iron, tangerine peel, raspberry and blue fruit. Generous blue-fruit flavors follow, with a light grip of tannins backing them up. It has the big-time “yum” factor of a more serious wine and will only get better with some additional time in bottle. Decant if opening in the near term.
