February 5, 2020 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Our Wine Wednesdays, include one *free sample from each of our hand selected fine wine features (up to four wines). This week we welcome Kellogg Selections.

Massican Vermouth di Friulano
Inspired by the original Italian vermouth made in Piemonte by the Cinzano family in the 18th century, this Vermouth begins as a dry white wine that is fortified with a proprietary maceration of aromatic herbs and spices including Indian coriander, nutmeg, orange peel and quassia wood which has been used for centuries as a digestive agent to make vermouth. The white wine is aged in barrels for six months before the maceration is added to the wine and then the mixture is aged an additional six months in those same barriques.

Inconnu PapaJaja Cab Sauv
INCONNU is a meditation on simplicity; we believe that less is more, and that honest wine speaks for itself. Through respectful farming and gentle cellar practices we seek to express our place and our passion with perennial resonance and beauty. For a natural Cab, the Papa Jaja still has plenty of body and fruit. Delicious.

Inconnu Kitsune Red
Merlot dominate red blend. All work is done by hand. Harking back to the the classic Napa/Sonoma Reds of the 1970’s & 1980’s. Pencil lead, prun tart, leather, tobacco like spiciness. Laura Brennan is really making some super special wines here, very hands off but well with in the mainstream of enjoy-ability.

Clos St Antonin Côtes du Rhône
A project created by Isabelle and Christophe Sabon (of Domaine de Janasse) in 2015. The estate is located in the Plan de Dieu, northeast of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, yet they have access to some prime terroirs in Châteauneuf-du-Pape in the La Crau and Font du Loup lieux-dits. 91pts Jeb Dunnuck: “While there were no prices listed on these wines (I’m not sure who brings them into the United States), the 2016 Côtes du Rhône should be sought out by savvy buyers. Ripe, rounded, and incredibly sexy, with lots of kirsch and blackberry fruits, garrigue, and mineral notes, it has impeccable balance as well as purity of fruit. It’s a knockout Côtes du Rhône to drink over the coming 3-4 years.”
