Kobal Penina Sparkling Blaufrankisch Rose
100% Blaufrankisch. The Kobal brand puts the wines from the selected vineyards of Slovenian Styria (Štajerska) on the world’s wine map. The majority of our wines come from the vineyards located on steep slopes of Haloze that consist predominantly of marl and from the vines that average more than 35 years in age. All of site’s complex influences result in unique traits of our wine, 24 hours long (or even longer) cold maceration accentuates their fruitiness; they exhibit freshness and reflect the fingerprint of nature – a distinctive Štajerska terroir. The bouquet is reminiscent of fresh raspberries and strawberries. Firm acid and delicious minerality, killer little sparkling.

Jimenez-Landi Bajondillo 750mL
85% Garnacha, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. A lovely farmer wine made of mostly Grenache, Denomination of Origin Mentrida, a territory dedicated to the vine from the 12th century. The Grenache is cultivated at more than 600 meters, on floors of rock and granite, which lend freshness and minerality to the wine, there is a small amount of Syrah blended in, which marries well with the Grenache adding a bright fruit and backbone. For producer José Benavides this is the wine of his land, from the younger vines full of fruit and freshness. It is an everyday wine that showcases the potentiality of the Toledano territory, a wine that has been revolutionary, and has stood out for its elegance in a region known for ‘power’ rather than elegance. Super crunchy natural wine!

Le Due Arbie Chianti Superiore DOCG
80% Sangiovese, 20% Merlot. Quintessential Tuscany: a gentle whirl of the ripest red fruits, violets and cherries. A vivacious ruby red, the tannins are youthful but harmonious and rounded. It ferments on natural lees in steel vats for about two weeks. Following natural malolactic fermentation in the same vats, the wine ages in large barrels for another 12 months. It is bottle aged for a further 3 months prior to release. The result? A complex, elegant wine, with a long finish, easily paired with food. Spontaneous fermentation with native yeast in unrefined concrete vats for about 2 weeks. Intense aroma, with hints of ripe red fruits, like cherries, which pair well with the scent of dried violets. The Merlot bestows the bouquet with its unmistakable aromas, including grassy and spiced nuances. The aromas can also be tasted on the palate, blending perfectly with the balanced tannins and excellent freshness.

Ampeleia Kepos
Varieties originating from the Mediterranean Basin – mainly Alicante Nero (also known as Grenache, Cannonau or Garnacha) but also Carignan and Alicante Bouschet. Different Mediterranean grape varieties are fermented together and blended to produce this wine. The grapes are sourced in the vineyards closest to the sea, in Ampeleia di Sotto, where the Mediterranean scrub dominates the landscape permeating the air with its fragrances: this is Kepos. In the 60’s, Erica and Peter Max Suter, a Swiss couple, bought the abandoned farm and turned it into a rural estate with woods and pastures, breeding sheep and pigeons as well as planting a vineyard; soon the Meleta winery (in Italian, ‘Meleto’ is an apple orchard and the winery was named after the orchard on its land) was known for its wine and products. It was at that time that Cabernet Franc and Merlot were introduced to Roccatederighi. The vines in Ampeleia grow at a range of altitudes and on different soils: the great geological variety found in the area around Roccatederighi represents a rich pool of diversity. From the rocks of the medieval village of Roccatederighi, one descends to the coast and sea, in a landscape woven with countless fields hidden in the dense vegetation of Mediterranean scrub and holm-oak woods. Today, the estate extends over three altitude levels and covers 33 hectares of vineyard producing an average of 160,000 bottles annually.
