Soils are poor with an underlying granite base. Grapes used in the production of Vinho Verde are: Alvarinho, Rabigato, Loureiro, Batoca, Trajadura, Avesso, Pederña, Azal.
Massone Gavi Vigneto Masera
Gavi is in southern Piedmont in the Monferrato area. This hilly area is the cradle of the Cortese grape variety. The sea breezes from Liguria, the characteristics of the soil and the careful work in the vineyards are the ingredients to make fresh and elegant wines with a delicate aroma.
Straw yellow with light greenish reflections, delicate, but persistent aroma of fruit and flowers, that makes it particularly elegant. Dry with a crips acidity and a pleasant mineral flavor.
Castel Del Lupo Pinot Nero Della Quercia
The Pinot Noir vines – organically-grown on a combination of chalk, clay and silt soils – are Guyot-trained at approximately 250m altitude, south / south-east facing. The grapes are harvested by hand and undergo careful selection. In the winery the grapes are macerated on skins for 8-10 days, then undergo malolactic fermentation in stainless steel. The wine is bottled in spring. A bright and fresh style with open berry fruit aromas and gently floral notes. Lively acidity offsets the ripe wild plum fruit and the palate combines concentration, delicacy and structure.
El Vinculo Crianza
The El Vínculo winery is the result of an old idea by Alejandro Fernández to make a great wine in La Mancha. After touring the region he ended up finding excellent Tempranillo vines. The first vintage was in 1999. Aging: 18 months in 100% American oak barrels and 6 months in the bottle. Purple color with cherry red cherry and medium layer. On the nose the wine is intense with a predominance of fruit and light toasted touches and some reminiscence of American oak, like vanilla. On the palate, complex flavor, well endowed with acidity that becomes cool under the tongue. It is a powerful and tasty wine, with intensity to last in the mouth several seconds after its passage through the palate. Intense tannins, with good presence and with a future elegant rounding. It is a wine that, as the wines of El Vínculo are characterized, shows the importance of the fruit well assembled with the wood during the Crianza.
